The church is non-denominational. Alot of the scriptures are pulled from The Message. SPC is a church plant supported by James River in Springfield Mo. Which is an Assembly of God. Pastor Scott is amazing speaker. One of the churches slogans is "We are imperfect people pursuing a perfect God" so if your looking for church of perfect people, we're not it. But if you want church that just goes by what the bible says. (No added fluff) & is welcoming of everyone & the sermon is presented in a fun relatable way. Then i encourage you to check us out.
SPC is a nondenominational church where everyone is welcome. We see church as mire of a family, than an organization or event. Pastor Scott uses a variety of versions (of the Bible) while teaching. I think you will LOVE it Linda...I hope you come check us out.
