Pastor Phil definitely isn’t a Calvinist. I was enjoying my time there until he preached on Romans eight. Definitely doesn’t have the right theology when it comes to the doctrine of election. God is the one who chooses his elect. Ephesians 1:4–5: "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," Ephesians 1:11: "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:"

The uncompromising Word of Elohim is being preached in this place! So refreshing. There are many avenues in place to help one with their walk and spiritual growth. They don't even pass an offering plate around! They have giving boxes at the entrances/exits of the sanctuary. I only wish they would not conduct praise and worship in the dark like so many churches are doing now. ☹️ We are children of light not darkness. Children of the day, not night. In HIM is light, and there is no darkness at all. The Most High doesn't need us to "set the mood". HE inhabits the praises of HIS people. Where two or three are gathered in HIS name, Messiah is in the midst of us. #turnthelightson

You can be as involved or background as you would like with Abundant Life. I had no prior experience with church. I started going with my family and when I felt more confident and was ready, the church made resources and information very available.

The service times are 8, 935, and 1115. The 935 is generally the busiest. First time parking is in the front of the church. Take care
The Abundant Life Food Pantry is open the first and third Monday of the month from 3:30-6 pm and every Wednesday from 2:30-5:30 pm.

I would call the main number to the church and inquire about it if you cannot find anything on their website which I believe is Abundant Life LS or Abundant Life LS. Org. Otherwise you can simply Google Abundant Life Baptist Church and Lee Summit Missouri they have a Facebook page and that church will bring up there all their public information with their office numbers address website and all of the above info.
