It is always a weird experience trying to find a new church. Going and evaluating if you want to make a place your home - where you can serve and be served. After attending 4 services, I have some thoughts. The Summit Church appears to have a heart for the community. Worship was good, like your typical modern church that focuses on Hillsong style worship. However, the preaching was significantly lacking. The pastors do not even bring a bible up to the pulpit. They preach from an ipad, which lends the sermon to feel more like a corporate presentation than a biblical lesson. The sermons are lacking theological depth, and the bible is used sparingly.

The staff and ministry is so welcoming and in tune to the needs of our community. We moved here from out of state and everyone welcomed us in. We knew this was the place for us.
