You go through the classes and if you pass with a b or higher you are allowed to register for the national exam which gives you your certification! I'm in the program now! The national exam costs like 200$ or 300$ but certifies you
Hello! Like most technical schools, the program itself is not accredited, but each of our Clinical Medical Assisting graduates (any grade of C or higher) leaves the program with an NCCA-accredited national certification as a CCMA through the National Healthcareer Associated, so they do carry an accredited credential into the field. The cost of this exam is included in the total tuition/fees for the program ($1800). Kansas City School of Phlebotomy is also approved to operate and offer Clinical Medical Assisting training by the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
