Is there a way to get to the resort that is not as steep as the front side

If your referring to poppet flats rd...the steep grade down to the gate then the answer is no...if your talking about the 243 from banning you can come in from the opposite direction through mountain center

I used to ride my bike on training rides from Idy to Poppet Flats, the road is steep but not that bad. I can hit 55+ down the hill, much slower going up, but if I can do it on a bike you’ll be fine in your car.
