They only give you a wrist band when you buy a room at great wolf lodge...can't stay somewhere else..ten years ago..you could just get day passes..not anymore.
To my understanding the passes are for all day!! We left and went to eat dinner came back, just kept our bracelet on got right back in.
You have to stay there, But it is worth it. For a little get away. My kids loved it for sure will be back.
Sadly, they don't have just day passes. So yes, you will need to get a room while you're there
