Sat March 3rd is opening day and you can buy a license at the boathouse/marina across from boat ramps. You also need Ks state fishing license and need special sticker if you have a boat on lake. I think opening day is weather permitting. They are having a breakfast so you can buy license and have breakfast:)

Yes...It is seasonal and like Jackie said you do need a state of Kansas fishing license and Wyandotte co lake fishing license. Can purchase these and bait at the marina at the lake. Fishing is from 6am-11:30 pm with a few all night fishing nights though out the year.
