You must have a passport to travel internationally. However, if you are a Mexican citizen you can cross by providing birth certificate, Mexican passport, residence card, or IFE card.

You need a passport or passport card. If you are traveling through Tijuana Airport, you would have to cross into Mexico via Otay Crossing or San Ysidro and get dropped off at the airport.

Do you know if I can cross by CBX from Tijuana to San Diego with a TN visa? I understood that you could not go from Tijuana to San Diego with a tourist visa, but I don't know if you can go using a TN visa.
