Im planning to travel to Cancun in July. My plan is to drive to San Diego from Palm Springs to catch the plane in TJ because its cheaper. Can me and my family park at CBX on the US side and walk to the the TJ airport to catch the plane?

Yes you can, I believe you must pay for parking, I'm guessing its pricey because just for 1 hour I think 8 bucks. usually there is street parking but it's always full!

Yes, you can park there but parking is a little expensive, then you can cross walking directly to the airport buying a CBX pass

Yes. Parking can be 17 or 15 depending on what lot you park in. From where you park you walk to the CBX and cross the border. You should get the round trip ticket just be careful not to lose it. I usually place it with my passports and I take a picture just in case.
