This response is for Catalina Guerrero, first of all to use the crossing you either need a plane ticket to/from Tijuana International Airport but more important you need a passport to enter back in the USA, birth certificate won't cut it anymore. I don't know how it is to get into Mexico since things changed since 9/11 but I do know if you fly into the US you need a passport.
If u dont have a passport. But your a us citizen can you still cross with your Id n birth certificate?
