Is it safe to park your vehicle for the night off one of the turn outs down Cuddy Valley Road or is that risky?

Its pretty quiet up there. We saw 3-4 cars parked in various turnout locations on the way up. Plus a couple campsites/tents set up

On some. Since the road is an easy drive, many speed up and down Cuddy. But I've done it several times to find prime spots for Milky Way photography.
