Even in the middle of a warm, sunny day the grass and ground were wet, soggy and muddy! There were also very large holes that had been dug with mounds of dirt everywhere, it wasn't safe for any of the small kids.

There is snow at the top of MT Pinos. Not sure how much. Over the weekend you will need an adventure pass to drive to the top. CHP will be checking. About chains, just have them in your car in case they ask. The roads are clear so I don't think you will need them.

No the park is not open, hwy patrol is in the enter of frazier park road & cheking all cars, just residents can be enter to town..

Whatever snow there is CURRENTLY on the hill is basically frozen ice...trust that the news will alert you to when there is snow up here ^_^ please also be respectful of residents and businesses as well...too often do we tend to have to clean up quite a bit after snow visitors
