I have been there more times than I can count and have never seen one. They put up signs but I'm guessing that's more to cover themselves incase something does happen.

We did not see any but there were signs around warning....

Never on ocean side

I would think the gators would be in more remote areas. The park is popular and the foot traffic heavy. I've been there several times, never seen an alligator. I feel safe. Go and enjoy.

The ocean side, no reptiles. Fisherman hip deep in the bay side, so i assume no alligators. At that time.

There are warning signs where the buildings are in the park before walking to the beach but that should not deter you from going.
