This review is for the dog park. It's ok. There are sections for large and small dogs. Each section is a decent size. So there's plenty of room to run around. One gripe I do have is that the garbage cans are outside the fenced in area. This is a bit annoying if you have a bag of poop to dispose of. Also, there are not many places to hide from the sun here. They could use a few shaded areas. Overall, the place is fine. But not the best dog park around.

There is a plan that commission has approved. The work being done North of the park's vehicular entrance will provide a non-league play ballfield, similar to what was previously there, but smaller. All of this work is in support of general park improvements and to allow for the expansion and upgrade of the boat/RV storage areas and, eventually, the docks and ramps.
Dog parks are usually closed for a while oncengoing through a grass change. Plan a month or so.
