The customer service at the fireplace people store was awesome I needed help with a gas fireplace remote we’re from out of town and we’re trying to help our mom and they answered the phone very politely and Shari was helpful we went to the shop and were greeted us pleasantly and made sure that we had the right product

I had a great experience with this company. My hope was install a wood burning stove or high efficiency wood burning fireplace. With their help and onsite inspection I realized I wasn't up for the project that it would have required. With some guidance Mike got me setup into a gas option that fit my constraints. I'm way happier than I thought I would be "settling" for gas. He showed me a bunch of good options that would fit my criteria and got it installed perfectly. The install team was friendly, efficient and super clean. The thing I liked most about them was that there was a small mismeasurement that they corrected quickly without any hesitation. The entire crew made sure it was correct as if it was their house. I'll be installing a smaller gas fireplace in another room and without a doubt asking them to do it for me. *I contacted another big name fireplace dealer in the area who I couldn't get in to see and wouldn't return at least 6 (yes, 6) phone calls. **This process isn't for the types who like to get things done today. It will take months. There are site visits, permits, electrical, plumbing/gas, chimney sweeps and inspections to do before getting the unit installed. Start very early if you want it for this winter. ***Used Ed Wirth for plumbing. Getting scheduled can be a slight flakey but they're super good once you get a date, honest and clean. Used a guy named Ray Gerhart for electrical who was awesome all the way through. Smith's chimney sweep service for the chimney work is way better than A-1.

I searched six different fireplace stores and chose The Fireplace People because of their sales person Mike C. Mike was very patient and professional with me explaining everything I needed. I had several months delay due to the manufacturer and Mike kept me abreast thoughtout the whole process. Today he went out of his way to install the delayed surround. I love my new gas fireplace. I will highly recommend The Fireplace People in the future. Thank you Mike.

I finally gave up on expecting a positive outcome for my fire place repair with these people. They schedule you 3 months out and if they have to come back they put you in the back of the queue. If you want your fireplace fixed in this century call someone else (I was very happy with Pyrogenix LLC Israel fixed everything in a single visit).
