Why do they shove some people in corners and at small tables? And then when they do, you get poor service.

And it's definitely easier for them to correct it when you are still there.

You can ask for a different table and know how different seating is, but it's the waitress who is responsible for your service. But matter where I sat, I have always had a good dinner there.

I disagree with your basic premise. We got the table we wanted and had great service
