can I get a FL ID for a senior who has a driver's license but no longer drives. If so, how do i get it.?

No you can not no person is allowed under federal law to poses more than one I d of any type his licence is fine till it expires then you can get him a state id you may be able too surnder his license and get a state I D though

You can have either an ID or a DL, but not both. You would have to surrender the DL and the driving privilege to get the ID, so think twice before doing it. (My father is 92, no longer drives, but still had a DL.) Consult the DHSMV website for how to do it. How you do it may vary by exact individual circumstance due to the REAL ID requirements. Also beware of the fees involved.
