I stayed at a Motel 6 that didn't have a coffee pot in the room. I've stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Johnson City multiple times and have always had a coffee pot, mini fridge and a microwave.
The superior Kings have coffee makers. Standards and doubles do not. (Employee) There it's ALWAYS hot coffee in the lobby at all times. I also just brang coffee to a guest who asked this very question.
They usually have them in the Superior rooms. Not sure about the basic rooms. If not, could always ask at the front desk for one.
