Depends on where you donate it there are companies that do all the paperwork for you otherwise I would ask one of them what you need to do maybe. If you are donating to someone in need I know a woman in palm bay who has MS and is on disability who is in need of a vehicle pretty badly right now. Sorry if I wasn't a help to you.
I would think get a receipt for the value of the car so when you do your taxes, you have proof of value. Turn in plates to motor vehicle
