Call ahead for things like a beard shave since he has to get the towel ready and stuff like that. Other than that it's just walk in
I had arrived after calling and asking if walk ins were accepted and upon arriving i was greeted with a locked door. There was still two people inside, a barber & a customer. After reading the hours on door and making sure they were still open I knocked on the door. Then, the barber who, granted was the only one working, switched his attention from the customers hair to me. But, instead of letting me in, the barber instead gestured for me to beat it. If I ever attempt another visit to this barbershop, I hope I would at least make it in the door so I could give a proper review.
You can just walk in
