tankless water heater ,what is your take on them ?

I love it. But only if gas/oil fired. The electric ones don't work as well. I did some research before buying. It does take a bit longer to get the hot water from the tap because there is no holding tank. Takes about a minute. You will never run out ofvhot water. The model i have can produce up to 6 gallons of hot water a minute. Typical shower is 1.5/2.5 gallons per minute

They are Very Efficient
