Are you allowed to pick your burial site? I am a Disabled American Vet and my wife has a letter saying she is eligible for burial next to me. Thank you for your time and assistance.

You will be given plots together and I also believe you can choose the earth or a wall but they will assign you the lot and spot number. I lost my fiancee in 2019. They give you very specific instructions on how many characters for the epitaph and u can pick a specific character i.e. cross, angel, praying hands and you'll have about 4 or 5 days to get your chosen info to them. Gary thank you for your service! My father in law was cremated and we just had a small service there. For him..I believe there was a choice in the ground or on a wall to place the Urn..but no, his wife , who will also be buried beside him when her time comes, was given a plot # and a map of where he will be laid to rest..Maybe this is just because of COVID?? I'm not sure. God bless you and your family
