There is now a kiosk to give you the location in the main building.
https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/massachusetts.asp they should have some info on their website either under 'grave locator' if your friend is already buried, you'll need to know name and date of birth or death, or under 'daily burial schedule' if it's upcoming. Hope that helps!
