I think it depends on what time of day you go out and watch for the whales we went on the 9:00 while watch on the right side of the ship they saw plenty of whales on the let's say the boat where we were standing we didn't get to see too many whales no breaching out of the water so I think it just depends on what time of day you go and what month you go in good luck
We went in the afternoon and it was great. We saw different whales.
We saw a bunch of whales on the morning cruise. Don't know about the afternoon one.
It depends but August you will see whales for sure.. never go on a cloudy day
I'm not sure which would be best, but the 2 pm we went on in early August saw a good amount (about 9 humpback whales).
It's kind of a gamble, but I was on the morning cruise this last week and there were breaches, flipper waving, and deep dives.
9 a.m.cruise mom and baby whale followed boat ,got plenty of pictures. Mom breached and baby followed. FANTASTIC! Great narration. Will do again.
We had a 2 pm cruise and saw 3 humpback whales 1 minke and a pod of dolphins.
We went on the 2 pm
Both, they search for whales and are very good at spotting them!
We went on the morning cruise three times over three years and each was successful .
In August any should have good chances of seeing activity.
We had an 11 am cruise and saw 4. 1 even breached! Good luck!
