Someone told me that u can apply for dta and if u get approved they give u $300 a month for people that don't work is this true??

Depends on what town you live in and other factors. I was told that you have to work or volunteer a minimum of 20 hours a week to qualify. As far as how much you get, again that depends on factors in each individual case. Single, no kids, you get about $192 a month.

If you mean cash than no, you have to be a parent of a minor child living with you, but you can be a single person and get foodstamps for a limited amount of time. There are work requirements tho
