My package has stated "waiting for local carrier pick up for three weeks. I tried calling the 800 number provided and waited on hold for over an hour. I finally hung up. I can't believe how bad the USPS has gotten over the years!

Terrible as the USPS generally is. Ordered medical supplies with priority shiping. Was notified today they were out for delivery. Then was notified they arrived back at the post office and were marked for me to come pick it up. I had to spend 30 minutes on the 800 number getting through robots before I got to a queue for another 25 minutes to get a representative. After 10 minutes after back and forth she calls this location, and they reluctantly agree to bring the package to me despite this being literally what I paid for. Both the rep at 800 and the rep at Taunton acted like they were doing me a favor by doing the job I paid them for. So infuriating it makes me want to go postal. Hah.

Do not drop off packages here without a SCAN Form, they do not scan packages in, tracking will not be updated, and they will become "lost". Currently have a package "awaiting item" for 4 days after dropping off. USPS can not help me because on the tracking it seems it was not even dropped off.

Ok thanks.Just wanted to check because my boyfriend works in the industrial park so it would have been more convenient.
All the routes were changed in Taunton due to a national plan to consolidate the post office and it's routes and the amount of time carriers spent in the morning at the office. So to answer your question probably never.
