My first in-person visit since the pandemic began was yesterday and it was great. Very little wait and there appears to be a new front-desk person. A sign says they are not taking walk-ins anymore so I think that's why my visit was so easy. I agree with the others that the office staff have been disinterested and difficult in the past but I think Dr. Shurtleff may have remedied that if yesterday was any indication. Her M.A. is a young man who is competent and respectful. The lady who does the lab work is not warm and fuzzy but she's incredibly good. I'll take that any day. (And a lab in the office? That's a great perk.) In the past I've waited a long time for my turn, even with an appointment, but I always knew once Dr. Shurtleff got to me that I would not be rushed. She is not judgmental or rude (even when I told her I *still* hadn't done a lab test she sent me for a year ago). If you don't need to see her in person, she is also great with tele-med appointments; I have had a couple of those in recent months. I hope yesterday is the way things will be from here on out because it was a good experience.
