Food is good as are the portions. Waitstaff did a great job for being heavily understaffed. But staffing is an issue at pretty much every restaurant now.

Food is great, portions are very generous. However, the decor leaves a lot to be desired. The light fixtures overhead are particularly offensive. The paper on the lights is all yellowed and in many cases torn. Was thinking about going out for diner tonight, but discounted Hong Kong City because of the decor. When they were closed during the pandemic for indoor dining, it would have been great if they had upgraded the decor.

Third time in a row my order was wrong/missing items. One of the items I ordered was Caterpillar Maki (Eel, avocado, cucumber, flying fish roe) was basically whole bunch of cucumber and rice. Tiny piece of eel and no roe. I called and was told that is how it is made. I did mention that I have ordered it many times, and this was not it and that there was barely any eel and NO flying fish roe. Response was " they must have forgotten to put it on". There was no apology, no offer to re-do or money back. Food quality went way down, and customer service awful. Will not order again
