There is a parking garage, I believe the fee was $12 but I'm not sure how long that covered us for.
They have their own deck next door which is free for 1 hour or 12 dollars for the whole day. More info here as well; https://science.discoveryplace.org/plan. When we went last week we also saw many other city lots that were a little cheaper but further away.

The parking structure right at the door to the Discovery place has one slot with a electric car charger on the third level
There is parking at the Fifth Third Center. There is also a street parking lot nearby that is a little cheaper.
I took public transportation. So I am not sure. However, it is the uptown or downtown area, and street parking is available. It's also right across from a large library which may have parking.
