if i bring in a stray cat i took in this week because of weather my neighbor has one of her sisters so she is 4 Extremely friendly and affectionate uses the litter box i have allergies to cats so unfortunately she asked to go today any ideas??

If you keep the cat longer than (I believe) 2 weeks you technically become the owner of the cat and are responsible for it's welfare. You could surrender it to the shelter for a $45 surrender fee. They will evaluate it to see if it is healthy/adoptable, and if so they will take care of it until an adoption can be arranged. If you have the cat for a few days, you can call the Animal Control Officer to come pick it up and they will bring it to the shelter.
