I found a stray dog in my neighborhood and I tried to take care of him but come to find out he was way too sick for me to treat so can I take him to the animal shelter?

Why not call and ask. That way if they can't take in your sick one maybe they can find someone else to help!

Greenville Animal shelter is a great source for sick animal assistance. It's separate from Humane Society.
