In the repair department, when you bring your item for repair, you also bring a deposit on that item. The mechanic will call you with an estimate on cost to repair and if you decide, yes on the repair we apply your deposit on the bill. If you decide not to repair your item then it cost you the deposit as a diagnose fee for the mechanic's time spent.
Ask the owner because I am not him!
Call them and talk to them sometimes they can walk you through a problem on the telephone other problems require a physical inspection of the bike but I will say the head Mechanic Michael is a mechanical genius with scooters I would assume this would be the same case also for other small engines both 2-stroke and 4-stroke because I know that they do repairs on lawn equipment and other small engines they're also the cheapest around and very accommodating
