Why can't I go into Davids Bridal to look at their selection of gowns with out an appt?

They are really very busy. The appointment is great because you get amazing service! It is well worth the appointment!

When we went they had multiple employees and there was one customer. We were not allowed to even look. We didn't ask to try on just wanted to get an idea of style and prices. This was on a Tuesday at 11 am. They were just RUDE! But all is well went to another bridal shoo and they were more than happy to let us look and the end result was a puchased wedding gown.

I went on a Saturday woth am appointment amd it was slammed. There may not be a dressing room available without an appointment, but during the week it should be fine.

I went there several times before my wedding, with and without appointments. I recommend making an appointment, it is much easier. On the weekends i still had to pull my own dresses to try on and was pretty much on my own. Best advice is to write down the dress numbers you want to try on (found on the tag). Then after they take your measurements they will pull the dresses and bring them to you. Make an appointment for you, then your bridesmaids, and another for you. Have your bridesmaids ready to help you get in and out of the dresses, that way you maximize your time. Appointments are generally for an hour, sometimes more or less depending on the stylist and how many brides they work with at once. Know that you dont get your stylist for just you... They have several brides at once so you need to bring help. They have different fitting rooms for bridal gowns which is the hard part... They fill up quickly. Best to have a plan unless you want to be there all day waiting.

You can go in to view their selection without an appointment. They recommend appointments to try on gowns because they get very busy especially on the weekends and there may not be staff to help you or fitting rooms for you try on things. If you do not have an appointment you will be on your own to find and pull gowns and you will wait in line for a fitting room. If you make an appointment an associate will give you time to pick out gowns then they put you in a fitting room and bring you the right size in the gowns that you like a long with other things you may need and help you get into and out of the gowns.
