My son stated his knee is hurting. He has no insurance. Where should he go?

Most of the 'private' Orthopedic offices here in Jacksonville prefer that you have Insurance, however, as a 'self pay' patient, the doctor. I'm not sure what SE Orthopedics policy is with 'self pay' patients, but I can tell you that it isn't cheap by any means, even if they offer a discounted price for 'sel pay'. All of them around town are pretty much the same. As for SE Orthopedics, I love them. I think that if I had a complaint about SE Orthopedics, it would have to be that they have some many providers working in the office, it can get pretty busy in their waiting room. But. they move every through fairly quickly. As for the Dr's, PA'S & ARNP's. I can only account for the ones that I have seen Dr. Hakim and Deanna are fantastic. I have had surgery 3 times over over the last year and a half. Very satisfied
