Yes, it's lean season now and you can get tickets on the same day near the entrance to the park. We went in early September and we saw a lot of people queuing up to buy day tickets or passes.
yes
It's best to buy them online so you don't have to wait in line and yes there are ticket booths open to buy tickets
Best,go online buy tickets
You risk the chance of that parks availability being full. I would use the reservation system so you know that your good for the day.

Yep

No, you need park reservations
Sure
You could be risking a trip and have yourself find out that it's at capacity.. You're better off booking in advance
Not now. Reserve park and purchase tickets online.
Yes it is available now. If it's a busy time I would do it online and not chance getting there and can't get in.
Yes you can. If you buy online you still have to go to the kiosk to pick up the physical tickets. But it will save some time at the kiosk.
Yes! However is better to do it in advance, the lines are horrible.
Yes you can buy tickets at the gates for Disneyland and Disney World. ALSO you need a theme park reservation for everyone 2yrs & up for each day you purchase a ticket. Check the Walt Disney World and Disneyland websites for park availability before you go to the park so your not disappointed if reservations are all gone at the time you purchase your tickets at the park.
