Definitely make a reservation through the Disney World app. If you are unable to do that you can do a walk-up, but I recommend going early in the day as their walk-up queue fills to capacity sometimes. Have fun!
I've noticed even with a reservation you wait 10-15 mins when you check in but still better than some of the times I've heard for a walk in.
You can book when you arrive at Disney Springs, we did.
The only reservation service is in the Disneyworld app. I believe the soonest you can book a reservation is sixty day out starting at 07:00 EST. The check in line looks long but moved quick. You can make a walk up request then.
We walked up and put out name on a list and just walked around Disney Springs some more
U should to reserve before, they have reservation station opposite the entrance. I waited 2,5 hours
Depending on the time of visit. I recommend booking on their website.
After speaking with them, if you arrive between 11 and 1p-ish without a reservation, you can expect to wait about 30ish minutes. It gets progressively later as you progress throughout the day. For April crowds at least!
