I'm not a big fan of Landry's Kid friendly restaurants food, but I love the atmosphere of T-Rex Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, and the Aquarium. Fun for the kiddos. However, I prefer T-Rex food over Rainforest Cafe.
The food is great but not like to-die-for. Portion is appropriate. It's really about the Disney-esque vibe, environment, and service. I went with my husband on a date night and we both enjoyed the time there. It was better than some other restaurants in Disney Springs. The wait can be long depending on the time and day but we only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table for two on a Friday evening. For the party of 2, we paid about $55.
Thanks all. I just want to do something different without breaking the bank so i guess this is a great choice from y'all responses.
The food is not worth the hype. The customer service and atmosphere is amazing and it's interesting to see how they were able to create a dino restaurant but the price versus the value is nowhere near worth it. When I go back I'm only going to take photos and maybe grab a soda but I would not dine in there ever again unless they overhaul the menu or at least make it tasty.
The children's menu was average, but both my and my husband's meals were very good. I felt the adult menu prices were pretty comparable to most steak houses. I recommend making a reservation and going for lunch. There is a huge difference in the crowd if you go early.
Food and service was mediocre but the hourly meteor showers, animatronic dinosaurs and prehistoric atmosphere were worth the prices in my opinion.
