We were there last week with most of the trails closed. Not much to see until more trails reopen.
Usually they remain closed for several months. Alligator Alley is closed indefinitely as it was severely flooded and damaged by the hurricane. They can tell you better, you can call on business hours.
No, alligator nesting makes it too dangerous. shady oak trail is open plus a few others.
