New to town and decided to take my two youngest to the library for the first time. The children's librarian could not have been less friendly. We are a homeschool family of 4 and I hardly doubt I will every be back. Any good experience I missed?

I am equally surprised at this. We go several days a week for day time play and also after school activities. My kids have grown to love all staff. I would also suggest giving it another try. There is so much offered there :)

I'm so surprised. My grandchildren love the librarians. The librarians all talk to each child and remember their names and their personalities. I think Fridays they have special programs for home schooled kids. Please give it another try. They really are wonderful people.

People should be nicer to children, I can understand you having a bad day. But their kids bro, come on!

That's completely contrary to literally every experience I've ever had there. Every children's librarian we've encountered there has been incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful.
