I recently bought a Honda Fit from your dealership and have a question: How does one read the gas gauge?. At the left of the gas gauge there is a red bar beside the E , which does not move when gas is added. Is there another indicator?

On my 2010 FIT, the indicator moves when the ignition is turned on.

A few google searches show there are some issues wuth the gas gauge, id call the dealer.

Yes. Its listed clearly in your owners manual..
