Yes, there are several places you can see the castle from. The best one would be from the ferry.

I guess technically you can see it from a distance on the ferry ride that takes you from the parking lot to the park but once you're there you have to have a ticket to get in. Plus you have to pay for parking before anything else unless you have a way to get free parking.

If you go to one of the resorts and get park view room or eat at some of the restaurants like Narcosees or the Califonia Grill. You get to see the top of the castle this way.
