Call the Disney Vacation planner to get the most accurate results. I cannot recommend the Park Hopper tickets and recommend the single entry tickets. Packages are available but may be best at 3-days if you can tolerate that much physical activity. Comfortable walking shoes are very important. Make sure you check on the guest limit for the Magic Kingdom because they are limiting admission due to the large crowds for the 50th Anniversary to 40,000 guests as of last week.
Harry Potter and friends are at Universal not Disney!
Yes, that is good. Staying at a Disney's Resort is very expensive. Scooters companies would rent you one pick up and delivered only at Resorts hotels at a hefty price. Best, bring your own motorized wheelchair or scooter of your own.
Harry Potter is at Universal Studios, not WDW
Try for a 5 day trip, you'll need it. Wheel chair register when you arrive for passes to bypass lines with times. Go to city hall.
If you don't already have it downloaded the my Disney experience application it has internal links to everything you will need. Food- most of the park restaurants require that you use mobile ordering. The restaurants are listed with the menu in the app. Shopping- in many stores you can do mobile checkout. You will want to add your debit or credit card to the app to use the restaurants and shopping. Park reservations- if you don't stay in a Disney resort you have to make reservations to get into the different parks(could be days or weeks out)Be sure to check about park reservations.Gone are the days of showing up and getting in (Staying in a Disney resort has different rules). You can also see ride wait times, park hours and specials. This will be agreat vacation and an investment so take the time to plan and don't hesitate to ask for advice or help.

I should wait for a couple of months until the fans visit the place for the 50th anniversary..
There are several hotels on property not so expensive. We stayed at the Pop Century. It's about 170 dollars a night. Clean, comfy, with a Murphy bed. So that's 2 beds.
Its very expensive so not really or call them The disney planner
For a first time visit definitely plan to do multi day tickets instead of parkhopper. They are limiting park hoppers to only letting you move between Parks after certain hours so it's not really worth it. Also you will feel pressured to cram more into 1 day and miss out on the Disney magic. Depending on what you child likes I recommend Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios as they have the most things to do. But if you like the zoo*rides feel Animal Kingdom is great. As an adult I love Epcot but it can get a little boring for small kids and the walking always seems more intense there for some reason.
Guest services is also a smart group to reach out to. They can make magic happen.
