Little ones really shouldn't come! It's a great experience when older, if you don't get stuck on a ride like we just did! Took over 30 minutes to get on it and then broke down and didn't get us out for over an hour!
I would not recommend taking a 1 yr old to universal studios. They would not be able to ride any of the rides.
Wait until your child is 3 or 4 years old unless you plan on bringing another adult with you, there's height restrictions for some of the attractions.
I would wait myself unless you have the funds to return later in life
