There is a big area between the two parks called CityWalk. Much like Disney Springs, it is an area of restaurants and shopping. Have to pay to park though, which is $22-25 or so, I don't remember exactly.

Yes you can walk through there's shops and restaurants. There is still a parking fee to gain access if you go before 6!

To clarify Laurin Jeffrey's reply, when we visited yesterday (3/27/19), parking prices listed were $25 Regular or $40 Prime (don't remember bus price).
