Like the others said it's better to have two days. But get there when the park opens. Take advantage of single rider lines. And express passes if you can. Make a list of all the must do rides and map it out. Download the app for wait times. The train is nice but sometimes it's faster to walk if it's not on your must do list.

You could, if you try "single rider" on the available rides. Although, it's better to take 1 day for each park. There's so much to enjoy on each one them. If you can't do 1 day by park, try Island of Adventure first. It's thriller and takes longer to walk

If you get there early enough, then you might be able to squeeze in both parks for a little while, but i highly recommend staying at least 2 days if possible.
