I spoke to some people there and these last two weeks are the quietest every year due to back to school. We had 0 lines.
Not as bad, but definitely get an early start. The crowd tends to trickle in after 12pm.

Because of covid, I think the crowds have been much thinner than previous years, at least international tourist are staying away for now due to travel restrictions. It also had been closing earlier, so keep that in mind.

Throughout the summer months, the key is always to get there early and if possible get the express passes
Mornings are the best try you're best to be there super early it does get a bit hectic by the afternoon time

Being slow season for tourist is an excellent time for annual pass holders to get the most out of your ticket.
Lately it has been very light crowds.

I went on Friday and they closed early due to Halloween coming.
