Scott Carr I'm sorry to hear that happened! My girls are extremely well behaved, always on leash, and mind their manners. I expect nothing less and they know it. I hate the term aggressive breed,it's painting every dog with a bad brush and these girls are my rescues and they've rescued me as well. They are in service training so I don't think they can stop us from having them there but I wouldn't come if we straight up aren't welcome due to their breed. Thank you all for your help I really appreciate it. I hope you and your wife are doing well Scott Carr!
Some places have rules regarding aggressive breeds. My dog was attacked by a Pitt Bull so I am against aggressive dogs. Just check with the main office for clarity. I also believe that half of the problem is the owners themselves. A Pitt Bull should be fine as long as the owner knows how to control them. When my dog was attacked and my wife was bitten as well, the dog was not on a leash. The owner didn't even apologize and stated that we were not in an approved dog walking area. However, the police were swift to take action and the dog was put down. This wasn't a one time instance. There were several other police reports filed within the last 30 days of the attack. The RV resort settled as well due to the number of complaints and people involved. It really comes down to common sense. Please don't think that I hate Pitt Bulls because I do not.
No aggressive breeds allowed. I think Pitt Bulls would be at the too of that list.
I don't think so
I am sure if they are up to date on their shots and they are quiet there will be no issues. Keep in mind there are a lot of long term residents
The park is dog friendly they must be on a leash people must maintain a clean up after them
We had our Great Dane with us, with no problem.
