This place has a 4.7 which is a better review than pizza connection in Auburndale. I've eaten at pizza connection but never palace pizzeria, has anyone ate at both? Opinions on which is better?

It's apples and oranges. Pizza connection is it's own style. Palace pizza is traditional New York style ran by an Italian family. They're both great but completely different. I grew up in Adale and live in Lakeland for 12 years. If I'm in Auburndale and gonna eat pizza we go to Pizza connection. If we eat pizza in Lakeland it's almost always palace.

Never had pizza connection but why compared the two? It's not like someone is going to be torn between which of these two to get, they are 45+ min apart counter to counter. If you are in Lakeland and want really good pizza that isn't just cheese & pepperoni (though they have that, too) then this is easy choice. In any case, you will not be disappointed if you dine at Palace Pizza

I gave been to Palace Pizza in both Lakeland and in Bartow. Excellent food and service at both locations. I highly recommend it. And not just pizza. All their food is great and at a Good price. Have never been to Connection so can't comment on it.

We've been to Palace Pizza only once, it is, in my opinion pretty hard to beat, never been to the Connection, so can't really compare the two.

I have been to both. No comparison, Palace Pizza.
