Does Lucky Dill in Palm Harbor make their own pastrami or is it Boars Head? They sell Boars Head in the bakery meat section.

Don't understand the slightly negative reviews. I'm from NY & NJ and I know It's hard to find NY style food of any sort anywhere else. Lucky Dill Deli has excellent food & a super big variety of foods to choose from. They even have NY egg creams that are to die for. I have never had a bad meal here! If you only want to complain that It's not NY this or that, go back to NY. If you Don't have anything nice to say , don't say anything!

Derek, I AM from N.Y., and in my opinion, it is the closest thing to a REAL N.Y. Deli here in Fl. I don't know if they season their own meats or buy it elsewhere. But, it is DEFINITELY NOT Boar's Head meat!!!! And, in my humble opinion, Ben's Deli in N.Y. was the best!!!!

If you are from NY you won't like it.. it seems close to boars head. Not the real stuff. I've went twice and I'm done. Floridians won't know the difference

I do not know why meat they use but considering we have so few real deli*s is better then nothing and it is reasonable!!!

It is certainly not Katz deli!! It is better than you what you'd get at Publix deli though.

From brooklyn and a frequent eater from grabstiens in canarsie this is dam close. Derek i think you may be a little off. Everyone has thier own taste and thats a given but i have tried just about everytjing this place has and i certainly am satisfied with killing my craving for a jewish deli

Thanks Derek. I am from NY. Not expecting Katz or 2nd Ave Deli. Just something closer than the average. Tried Lennys. Wasn't impressed. Any recommendations?
