Does the airport have a holding area for luggage?. We get to the airport at 10am and flight not till 8pm. Can't check luggage in until 2pm.

For security reasons, they don't. But you might be able get your airline to help you. If you find the right ticket agent, he or she might make an exception if you play your cards right.
